The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has delivered a stark indictment of South Africa's stubbornly high unemployment rate.
The OECD urged the government to roll out more youth-specific measures and warned that the growing focus on providing ‘decent work’ could prove counterproductive.
In its economic survey on the country, the OECD says the true figure, including those too discouraged to seek work, is more than 30 percent.
